Bastian Meger

Bastian Meger is an Associate Director at Tyto. He helps our clients create exciting communication opportunities that are relevant to journalists and their readers.

Bastian has been working in the media industry for more than five years and has extensive experience in the automotive industry, in fact, before he started to work in PR, he co-created an automotive online magazine.

Bastian started out in PR in a traineeship in the German press office of Fiat Chrysler, where he was involved in the communication of all group brands. This was followed by a role in the press department of Kia Motors Germany, where Bastian supported the market launch of eight new models. Among other things, he was responsible for the electrified vehicles and promoted Kia’s coverage as a pioneer in electric mobility.

His background is mainly technical. After a vocational training as an electronics technician, Bastian completed a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. Today, this experience helps him to understand technical issues and translate them into everyday language.

In his free time, Bastian can be found engaging in sports in nature or travelling in distant countries. He is always happy to try out new technology and to learn about the latest productivity hack.

His colleagues love him for his balanced, open-minded and uncomplicated manner.
