In 2018, I expect to see more vertical or SME-specific industry applications with direct solutions to solve a specific use case or pain point. IoT will be most transformative in manufacturing when the supply chain and manufacturing process are seamlessly integrated for mass customisation or what is termed a ‘lot size of one’.”
