Anniek de Hoop

Anniek de Hoop is a Senior Consultant at Tyto, based in Gorinchem, the Netherlands.

She is a creative communications professional who has built up an impressive track record working with B2B and B2C brands over 17 years of work experience. She has SEO, writing, and strategic PR skills, leveraging brands in a broad media landscape, from high-end business journalism to popular lifestyle media. Anniek has strong skills in selecting and pitching media which result in building valueble media relationships. She always searches for opportunities to make multiple use of input, increasing the ROI of PR activities.

During a period of self-employment, Anniek worked remotely several times from Berlin, Norway, Fuerteventura and Portugal, among others – the  last trip being in a campervan converted by her husband. After a few years she sought opportunities to broaden her experience and skillset, and first joined a PR agency. She thrives in an environment where the flexibility and drive of a self-employed consultant is combined with the strength, knowledge and continuity of an agency. The van is still there, now used for family relaxation during short work breaks and holidays, often heading to the coast to surf.

As a nature play advocate, Anniek likes to spend her spare time thinking of creative ideas to engage kids in nature. She taught herself to draw in Adobe Illustrator to develop various educational materials that support this mission. She was also asked to give a workshop for students and appeared on TV.
