Tom Ingoldby

Tom Ingoldby is a consultant at Tyto. In his role, Tom focuses on the content side of the business, writing articles, bylines, blogs posts, social posts, scripts, and reports.

Tom has a PR background, with particular focus on technology and startups. He has worked with tech giants such as Google as well as helping the launch of apps in the UK market. In between he has supported Social Enterprise UK’s Social Saturday and The Southampton Boat Show.

Early on in his career, Tom began to understand the importance of content, or more importantly high value content. He comes at writing from a slightly different angle, is flexible in tone of voice and ensures he is knowledgeable about the space meaning that clients receive high quality, creative content.

Tom once dreamt of being a screenwriter, and even wrote and directed his own sitcom while studying for his masters, something which has been useful when putting together storyboards for projects. While the sitcom DVD is gathering dust, he has also written for publications on craft beer and food, two of his biggest passions, inflicting on the public his opinion on IPAs and the rise of Asian street food. He also featured in a blog series looking at the ‘best’ worst films.

Colleagues and clients enjoy how Tom doesn’t just say ‘yes’, but always goes that little extra. His content is creative, purposeful, and pushes boundaries.
