Silke Rossmann

Senior Partner, Head of Client Operations

Silke Rossmann is a Senior Partner and Head of Client Operations at Tyto. Living and working from Germany, Silke is not only responsible for leading international programmes but also supporting clients with her in-depth local market knowledge and expertise. With nearly ten years of communications experience, Silke has carved out a specialism consulting technology companies working in the IT services and infrastructure market. Her main area of expertise is the development of integrated thought leadership communications programmes – helping tech brands hem to translate their (sometimes highly technical) solutions into stories that can be part of bigger debates and then adapting these stories to the local market needs.

Silke started her career in the communications department of German internet service provider 1&1 Ionos, where she honed her B2B PR skills. After that, Silke joined technology agency Hotwire in Frankfurt where she spent the past seven and half years. As a director and part of the German management team Silke was responsible for a team of 12 employees in the Frankfurt office from which she was leading accounts such as Nuance, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Veracode, Workday, INRIX and Citrix as well as the agency‘s own local marketing initiatives. Her experience in-house as well as agency-side helps Silke to marry internal communications, planning and measurement needs with the creativity, insights-led approach and valuable external view. Her passion lies in helping clients to deliver truly integrated campaigns.

Silke recently earned a general business administration and marketing diploma from the University of Hagen during a year of extra-occupational studies. Additionally, Silke is a board member of Marketing Club Frankfurt, the Frankfurt leg of the Deutsche Marketing Verband, the industry association for marketers. In this role, Silke is involved in events and networking and also one of the two spokespeople for the members under 35 years of age.

Silke has a Master’s Degree in Media Studies, Politics and German linguistics from the University of Trier. Silke has also gained extensive journalism experience in Germany and the US with working on print, online and radio outlets such as dpa, ARD.de and KFAI radio in Minneapolis.
